Facilitated by Alice Chiu from Asian Women's Shelter. Alice Chiu is a long time anti-violence activist in the San Francisco Bay Area. She has been involved with Asian Women's Shelter since 1999. Her roles include language advocate and case manager/advocate for both domestic violence and human trafficking survivors. She has also been active in raising awareness on disability and the importance of access to resources and support for survivors with disabilities.

Please join us for a pro bono training for pro bono attorneys regarding the representation of and immigration remedies available for survivors of human trafficking. You will learn about the T-visa, victim witness advocacy, and how this immigration remedy can be used to obtain legal status, and trigger important benefits to help support and stabilize trafficking survivors.
